As of patch 3. Comment by Definitely a great choice for a minor glyph to replenish ird pet's happiness. Prts by splunge Casting Mend Pet with this glyph increase your pets happiness by 20 on the first tick. Thats it. At the moment im level 78 and my pet is Not sure if levels are a factor, just adding prts completeness.
Not practically useless, just, not great. Its a Minor Glyph, makes sense that its not OP. Comment by Boring Does the bonus apply to all ranks? Could I spam rank 1 and get full benefit? Comment by 32ndShadowwind 20 doesn't seem like much, but think about how much you use Mend Pet in grinding, especially if you have Improved Mend Pet. Theoretically, your pet could go foodless for days. This will come in handy for bossfights, too, ever have your pet suddenly go Contented midfight?
A happiness boost is nice, even if it is minor. One question, is there a hidden cooldown? Can imagine spamming Mend Pet until he's back up to full happiness if there isn't. Comment by cyborg99 Remember that low ranks of spells will cost more than higher ranked ones now, it's to prevent downranking on things like healing Blizz has always hated that. Unless your pet dies several times in a row or you just dismiss and keep calling it over and over. Patch 3. Comment by Timberstorm Okay, I picked up this Glyph today, and started to test it out.
I dismissed my pet over and over until he was sad, then I spammed Mend Pet all the way back up to happy. This glyph gives hod happiness everytime you use Mend Psts, it can be spammed. Didn't even take geet my mana, either. Looks like I wont be buying food anymore. Comment by I know this will be my 2nd choice in glyphs. This commonly-used spell and special minor glyph how to make bubble skirt should free up a bag slot or two! Definitely situational, but useful for leveling Hunters.
Upon attempting to inscribe a duplicate Glyph at the Lexicon of Power you recieve the message: "That Glyph is already inscribed in your spellbook. I guess all this means is that if you're spamming Mend to raise happiness, you might not know when to stop.
Comment by Ayvalen This glyph is absolutely fabulous. I originally purchased it just to test it out and see what it does but have ended up keeping it. I've iin that I no longer need to carry food specifically for my pets. I now make sure that petw food I'm carrying for myself can be used on "Fluffy" or "Gorilladin for quick emergencies. With the new Aspect of now Viper that gives a passive regen this Glyph has become a staple for me. I can kick into viper and spam this a few times during a boss fight between shots if I have to rezz "Fluffy" after Supremus decides he wants to have a hunter pet over for dinner.
Comment by josangeorge Rud my own experience: before patch 3. After patch 3. So I would say if you choose Bloodthirsty, this glyph hpw useless Comment by tlanwarrior Your missing the point of Guard Dog, it also increases the threat from Growl. The happiness on inn is just icing on the cake. Comment by With the change to happiness why does this glyph still grant ohw. There are two different hunter glyphs that give pet happiness that are absolutely worthless. Pets no longer have happiness or loyalty or if they do i haven't seen any icon showing their happiness recently.
Comment by Not sure what other glyph you're talking petx, but aside from that, pets do still have happiness. They took out loyalty, but happiness is still a factor. The icon for it is beside your pet's health bar in your main view.
Comment by any hunter should seriously think about getting this glyph: makes leveling so much easier. I haven't fed my pet in days now, it's marvelous! Comment by SwiftHunter 3. Previous it was just the first initial use of the skill for 20 happiness.
Making this a much better use, as you can use it during combat, than feed pet. Comment by potatoboy Confirmed on 3. Nothing on Cast, 20 Happiness per tick. If you spam Mend Pet it is refreshed each time instead of being overwritten with a new mend pet. Just wanted to update my post to confirm that as of patch 3. Very how to make a parfait with yogurt this was finally fixed. Comment by Ramirez Thats why glyph not working.
Thanks for sow info. Comment by I think that the last patch has bugged it or broken it though. Since patching even if pet is near death he gains no happiness according to the combat log. Tried it on a variety of pets and health lvls. Just passing on the word. Comment by I just recently tamed a gorrila woow only had to feed him once, which was when I tamed him. Ever since I got this glyph, all I've had to do is mend pet him to make him happy.
Wonderful glyph, I recommend this to any hunter who wants to save a boatload on food for their pets. Comment by Skullhawk13 What if you have nothing to kill? So even with blood thirsy this is helpful! Comment by Nuker Not working at all since the update on Tuesday, Janurary 27, Pet gains no happiness from the glyph.
Comment by lizbliz Considering that every single pet tree has an ability that increases their happiness just by doing their job I can't see how this is all useful.
Tank pets get happiness from Guard Dog and a improved growl how to get a resume template on word 2010 of the deal Dps pets heal them selves a little and make themselves happier just by doing damage. Tell me why this glyph even exists.
Just more proof that blizzard is not a fan of hunters. We're the red headed step child of wow. Comment by Korvinus This is useful for lower level hunters. It saves on bag space which is always needed for the old-world quests. This Glyph is also able to be used before your pet learns any of those talents.
Comment by Alisson Confirmed this is fixed as of 3. Considering that it works whether your pet is at full what are the four elements of financial management in healthcare or not, gey gives up to happiness, it's a great idea for pete under level Comment by turi nice glyph. Comment by Unfortunately as of patch 3. Comment by Ot I still use this glyph on what is a bad customer service raiding hunter Ot don't always feel like attacking something just to get my pet's happiness up, so this is a great quick fix, especially for lets I'm bumming around town.
I'm also grabbing it for the hunter I'm leveling on a new server, because it ought to save a nice chunk of money and bag space, which I'm lacking without a main to supply things. However, if you plan on taking Pdts Mend Pet, do not pick up this how to calculate check digit in excel, as the talent will cause this glyph not to work.
Edit: Blizzard has apparently fixed the bug where Improved Mend Pet would make this oc not work. Comment by its almost useless just give your pet an extra bite of food and get kn worthwhile glyph. Comment by kingoomieiii Het and FD are the only useful minors we have.
Myself, I haven't hit Feed Pet in a month. Comment by Getting changed in psts.
